Arinya
Park is situated in the beautiful district of Romsey
in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria. We started our exciting journey breeding the exquisite Arabian horse in 1993 after having dabbled in partbred Arabians for a few years prior. We base our breeding program on Egyptian /El Shaklan /Crabbet lines and aim to breed horses that have Arabian type, are functional and possess a good temperament. Our foundation stallion Arinya Park Klass is by the imported Straight Egyptian (USA) Monteego Bay from the lovely mare Breakaway Khameo (Cranston Park Khaan x Cranston Park Khamissa). Arinya Park Klass was a successful show horse as a youngster before retiring for stud duties and is proving to be a very successful sire. Among his limited progeny, Klass has had an East Coast and Australian Reserve Champion Filly in the halter ring in 2006, Esplendour’s Aphrodite who also went on to win Reserve Champion Ridden Arabian Mare at the Australian Championships 2007 at the tender age of 4. In 2004 Esplendour's Ja'saara was awarded Australian Champion Amateur Mare or Filly as a yearling and also Victorian Reserve Champion Filly. Arinya Park Saardira was Supreme Female as a yearling under international judge Jeff Schall (USA) and East Coast Top 10 before her untimely death as a yearling. The recent arrival of the senior stallion Avondale Eclipse (Jantason Cass Ibn Rish x Avondale Elite) gives us a lovely cross for our Klass daughters and we eagerly await his foals in 2008. Eclipse has only had a handful of foals with Avondale Grace a multi-Champion filly being one, so it makes us very excited to have the opportunity to breed with him this season. |
