Kleopatra at the Australian Nationals

Kleopatra is from the lovely mare Breakaway Nah'tasha by Arinya Park Klass. Kleo is owned by Tess Barker from Kinglake, Victoria.
It was due to Tess that I was able to lease her very special mare Breakaway Khameo whom I really wanted to breed to the exotic imported Straight Egyptian Monteego Bay, which resulted in the birth of Klass. Klass was to be her only foal, so our emotional connection goes back many years.

Tess had sold Tash but when she saw her available for purchase she quickly snapped her up for the sole purpose of being bred to Klass. This breeding resulted in the very feminine and pretty bay filly Kleopatra who has done exceptionally well as a yearling winning and placing at all A an AAA level competition. She was presented by the very competent Sharon Barker who did a fabulous job in conditioning and showing her for her many awards finishing the year with a Top 10 Yearling Filly Award against very strong competition at THE AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2009.

Tash blessed us with another filly sired by Klass this year and she will be campaigned in the next show season. Tash is once again in foal to Klass and we eagerly await the results. Could we be lucky enough for a third filly? Fingers crossed.

Razzle Dazzle in 2009

Arinya Park Klass x Marapana Natalia
Chestnut Sabino colt 1/12/2004

The appropriately named Razzle Dazzle was the first Australian Sabino to be registered on the World Sabino Arabian Horse Registry (SAHR). He is also registered with the Pinto Society of South Australia.

Razzle is a striking individual with lots of presence. He was bred by Sue Felby of Esplendour's Arabians

Razzle Dazzle has been bred to the lovely mare Dowling Laila, both owned by Sue Felby in South Australia for a foal at the end of 2009.

With both mare and stallion carrying a Sabino trait it will be very interesting to see the resulting foal – Sue is hoping for colour again – it should be an exciting cross.
